Do I need to leave an EFTPOS terminal at the farm gate?
No. The printed QR code replaces the need to leave an EFTPOS terminal outside, keep it charged, protect it from weather, or explain how to use it. Customers complete payment on their own phone using a supported card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Can customers pay for several different products?
Yes. Use a buyer-entered amount page for a simple honesty shop, create a fixed-price page for one product, or build a shopping cart with several products and quantity controls.
How will I know that a customer has actually paid?
Successful payments appear in your ScanPay transaction feed. You can also use a live payment dashboard or enable device notifications so owners and staff can see the amount and purchase details.
Can the buyer receive proof of payment?
Yes. ScanPay can show a receipt page after checkout, send an email receipt, or provide both. Buyers can also download a PDF copy for their records.
Where does the customer payment go?
Payments are processed directly through the seller's connected Stripe merchant account. ScanPay provides the payment page, QR code, records, receipts, and alerts but does not collect or hold the customer payment.
